Walmart has invited its big three to its big third-party stores, including Target, Saks Fifth Avenue and JCPenney.
Walmart announced the invitation in a post on its blog that included photos of the invitees.
It will open three locations for customers to browse, shop and buy on Oct. 2.
“Our customers are hungry for new experiences,” CEO Doug McMillon said in a statement.
Target will be the first to open at the first-floor location of its new U.S. store, opening Oct. 6, in the city’s East Village neighborhood.
McDonald’s is set to open a new store at the mall in the same neighborhood Oct. 4, and Saks will open its first store in the mall on Oct 17.
JCPenny, the largest U.K.-based chain of discount retailers, will open in its new location at the end of October, and Target will open the second store there on Oct 24.
The stores will be open 24/7 and will offer free parking and no-cancel delivery.
